ASSESSMENT LATENESS
-
Late submissions will incur a penalty of 10% per day. This means that if you submit your assessment between 1 minute and 24 hours late, you will lose 10% of the total assessment mark. For example, if your assessment is marked out of 20 marks and you have submitted 30 minutes late, you will lose 10% or 2 marks for lateness. If you submit 2 days late, you will lose 20% or 4 marks, and so on.An assessment will not be accepted after 5 days of the original deadline unless special consideration has been approved.
If you miss the assessment deadline because of sickness or misadventure, you can apply for special consideration within 3 working days of the assessment due date. Applications for special consideration must include all supporting evidence, e.g. medical certificate, from a registered medical practitioner. To apply for special consideration complete the 'Illness/Misadventure Affecting Exams or Assessment Tasks' form available from Student Services (Email: enquiries@unswglobal.unsw.edu.au).
PLEASE NOTE: If the outputs of generative AI such as ChatGPT form a part of your submission, it will be regarded as serious academic misconduct and subject to the standard penalties, which may include 00FL, suspension and exclusion."
