UNSW Moodle Performance Issue - Delayed response time - Update

by Anoop Malekudiyil -

In response to the slowness, the vendor has expanded capacity of the Moodle web server cluster. Since then the performance has been stable and is being constantly monitored. The root cause is still being identified. In the meantime, UNSW IT have activated page monitoring on Moodle that will proactively identify and alert us about issues of slowness.

We recommend to schedule assessments during support hours (where possible) as the technical support staffs are available for faster response.

Start Time: Monday 4th April 12:00 PM
Last Instance: Monday 4th April 9:15 PM
Current Status: Monitor

by Vicki Tan -

Courses with the YXXX prefix (e.g., YMED1001 or YENG5582) are delivered by Arizona State University (ASU). To access these courses, you need to log into the ASU learning management system using your ASU-issued student ID number and password (not your UNSW zID and zPass).

Click here to access your ASU courses. For more information on PLuS Alliance courses, please see the PLuS Alliance orientation page.

If you have problems logging into the ASU learning management system, or require a password reset, please contact ASU technical support here.
