In response to the slowness, the vendor has expanded capacity of the Moodle web server cluster. Since then the performance has been stable and is being constantly monitored. The root cause is still being identified. In the meantime, UNSW IT have activated page monitoring on Moodle that will proactively identify and alert us about issues of slowness.
We recommend to schedule assessments during support hours (where possible) as the technical support staffs are available for faster response.
