If you are in an Academic English (AE) class at the Institute of Languages and you want to practise for your Academic English mid / final exams, remember that there are different styles of tests and you should make sure you understand the structure of your course exams. Also, remember that for AE listening exams, note-taking is a very important part of the test. For more practice in this area, you can practise taking notes in any listening that you can find. It doesn’t have to be a "test".
Work with other students. Do the same practice listening test or listen to the same lecture and then talk and compare your notes. You need to build your note-taking skills using a variety of different listenings.

California State University's English Placement Test (EPT) - The EPT Practice Test lets you compare your answers with the correct answers. For each question, you can read feedback explaining why the correct answer is right and why the incorrect choices are wrong. In this way, you can both practice these important skills and receive instruction to help you improve them. (csumathsuccess.org)
